Ondria Durocher Witt
Ondria Durocher Witt is a Worship Leader, whose ministry began in 2005 when she and her father Robert J. Durocher, Jr. began writing Christian music together. In 2007, they released their first album of original Christian music, Songs Along the Way. Ondria and Rob have been featured at several local worship events, and are now offering Contemporary Worship Workshops for those looking to begin a contemporary worship service, be introduced to new music (including that of Hillsong Church), or wanting a refresher course for the worship leading a praise teams.
Ondria is a worship leader for the contemporary service (Center Celebration) at her home church of St. John's Lutheran, Salisbury, NC. Ondria is also part of the Center Celebration Musicians Group, led by her father, Rob Durocher (Director of Music Ministries at St. John's).
In addition to being a worship leader, Ondria is very involved in her church. She serves as one of the main web administrators for the Center Celebraton website, helps to choose music for the contemporary service, and serves as a Center Celebration Team Leader. Ondria also keeps church members abreast of Christian Happenings, organizing groups for Christian concerts and worship events.
Ondria has devoted her life to serving the Lord, and is currently working towards an Associate in Worship Arts Degree.
When Ondria isn't at church, or working on church projects, she enjoys spending time with her husband Aleksandr (Ondria and "Sacha" were married in November of 2007). They like to cook together, spend time reading, sharing what they learn from their various reading, listen to and write music together, work outside, fly kites, etc.
Ondria and Sacha are starting a new bible study group for young adults ages 18-30, which will be offered every Tuesday night at their home in Salisbury.
In March, Ondria and Sacha will be first-timers in the ALPHA course, and look forward to learning and sharing their faith with friends.
Ondria's immediate family also resides in Salisbury. Her father Rob, mother Leslie, and sister Brittany, as well as grandmother Alice are all active members of St. John's. Rob serves on staff at St. John's, is very involved with the NC ELCA Synod and in the Rowan-Salisbury Community. Leslie, Brittany and Alice are all members of various music programs at St. John's.

Ondria is available to sing/share at special events and for special occasions. Ondria is, however, committed to serving as a worship leader at her own church on Sunday mornings from 8:30-10:00 am. Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening events will be scheduled, as well as weekday and Saturday events. Please check our Calendar page often to see which dates are still available.
